Here at EDK, we’re passionate about our work. We love what we do for our clients, ensuring they’ve got their best face forward through well-written and designed marketing materials.
We’re also passionate about several causes, one of which is animal rescue. At EDK we’ve been doing some great work with animal rescue organization Best Friends Animal Society, who for 30 years has been running the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary and operating programs targeted to reducing the number of animals entering our shelters. “Saving them all” is the credo the organization lives by, and it’s working! Best Friends set up a coalition in Los Angeles to end the killing of healthy animals, and also took over a shelter in the city that serves as an adoption center for several hundred dogs and cats of various breeds and sizes. The goal is to make Los Angeles a no-kill city by 2017, and spread the message to the rest of the country and enact similar initiatives in other states.
As part of our efforts to get the word out about adoptable pets, we will begin featuring videos of wonderful animals available for adoption here on our blog. She’d really thrive with an active adopter who would take her on long walks. Addi isn’t just a pretty face, she’s smart too, with commands such as sit and down under her belt…she’d do great with additional training!
